Munarish SmartAssess

Account and Data Deletion Policy

Effective date: [to be set at launch] · Version: 0.5 (draft for legal review) This page is published at munarish.com/smartassess/delete-account. Google Play requires a web page like this, so that people can ask for deletion without installing the app.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Munarish SmartAssess and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, and confirm.

You are signed out on all devices straight away.

Delete your account without the app

  1. On this page, choose Request deletion.
  2. Enter the email address or mobile number you sign in with.
  3. Enter the one-time code we send you, to prove it is your account.
  4. Confirm.

You can also email grievance@munarish.com from the email address on your account. We will verify that the request comes from you before acting on it.

Where your data is

In the mobile app, your study material, papers, answer photos, results and progress are stored on your phone. Our servers hold only your account, consents, purchases and usage records. Deleting your account removes the server records below and clears the app's data on that phone. Your Google Drive backup (if you made one) is in your Drive. The app offers to delete it too, or you can delete it from Google Drive yourself.

What is deleted

  • Your profile and sign-in details
  • All learner profiles
  • Everything you uploaded: study material, and the text and index made from it
  • All question papers, answer keys, answer-sheet photos, marks, feedback and PDFs
  • All progress information: trends, chapter mastery and personal bests
  • Your settings, notification tokens and devices

Deleting only some data

You do not have to delete your whole account. In the app you can delete:

  • a learner (Learners → choose → Delete), which removes their papers and results;
  • a document from your knowledge bank;
  • a folder and everything in it;
  • a question paper, an answer sheet, or a corrected paper. If other items depend on it, the app shows them and asks whether to delete them too;
  • a marking rule set or a paper template.

Deleted items first go to Trash (Library → Trash), where you can restore them for 30 days. After 30 days they are deleted permanently. To remove something sooner, open Trash and choose Delete permanently or Empty Trash. Deleting your whole account also empties your Trash.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first where you bought it: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, Microsoft account → Services & subscriptions, or Settings → Plan in the app for web checkout. Otherwise you may continue to be charged.
