Content and Copyright Policy
Effective date: [to be set at launch] · Version: 0.1 (draft for legal review)
1. Your knowledge bank is private
Material you upload is stored only for your own account or workspace. We do not publish it, show it to other users, sell it, or use it to train AI models.
2. Only upload what you have the right to use
When you upload material, you confirm that you own it, or have permission or a legal right to use it for your own study or teaching. Examples that are usually fine: your own notes, a syllabus published by a board, worksheets your teacher gave you for your use, and textbooks you have bought, used for your own child's study. Do not upload material you obtained unlawfully, or material whose licence forbids this use.
3. Content that is not allowed
Do not upload, or try to generate, content that:
- infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- is sexual, obscene, or harmful to children in any way;
- promotes violence, hatred or discrimination, or is defamatory;
- contains malware, or someone else's personal data without permission;
- breaks any law.
We may remove such content and suspend accounts that upload it, and we will report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires.
4. Reporting AI-generated content
If a generated question or feedback is wrong, offensive or inappropriate, tap Report this question (or Report on a result). We review every report. We use reports to improve our safety checks.
5. Copyright complaints (notice and takedown)
If you believe material stored through the app infringes your copyright, email grievance@munarish.com with:
- your name and contact details, and your authority if you act for the owner;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- enough detail for us to find the material (for example the title, or the paper or document identifier shown in the app, if you have it);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised;
- a statement that your notice is accurate, and your signature (typed is fine).
What we do:
- We acknowledge your notice within 24 hours.
- If the notice is complete and specific, we disable access to the material within 36 hours, and tell the person who uploaded it.
- The uploader may reply with reasons why the use is lawful. We will pass this on to you.
- We keep material disabled or restore it according to the law, including any court order. Under Indian copyright rules, access may be restored if no court order is produced within the legally required period.
- Accounts that infringe repeatedly lose the ability to upload, and may be closed.
6. Board names and trademarks
Board names such as CBSE, ICSE/ISC, Cambridge IGCSE and State Board names are used only to describe the style of a practice paper. Munarish is not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination board.
